Our custom garden rooms and annexes are built with the highest quality materials, ensuring year-round use and build longevity of your garden living space. Our commitment to never compromising on our materials sets us apart from our competitors and ensures that your space stands the test of time.
All of our custom rooms are built with high quality UPVC windows and doors, as standard. You can customise all elements of your custom garden room or annexe, with our windows and doors available in a choice of colours for an extra touch of your own unique style.
Looking for a more premium feel? We also offer aluminium windows and doors, which are also available in a choice of colours.
If having an energy efficient space is high on your wish list, we can help! All glass included within our garden rooms come with a special coating which helps to stop heat from escaping, meaning you’ll use less energy to keep your outdoor living area warm. The use of Energy Standard and Comfort glazing makes great use of the warmth from the sun, helping natural daylight stream in. Comfort Plus controls the daylight, keeping it bright but comfortable – perfect for sunny rooms or rooms placed in ‘sun trap’ areas.
All glass used within our rooms include;
All of our custom garden rooms and annexes are constructed with the highest quality cladding. When you purchase an outside living area from us, you’ll have the option to choose the cladding that best fits your vision and style but we’ll also provide you with our expert guidance and advice based on your requirements. Here’s the different types of cladding we offer:
Tanalised Redwood Cladding: This is treated to protect against rot and insect decay. The tanalised treatment gives this cladding a green/brown shade of colour which will fade and soften into a beautiful hue over time and we have multiple profiles available.
Thermowood Cladding: This type of cladding has been modified using heat treating redwood from Scandinavia. This process not only gives a fantastic finish and medium brown colouring, but it also helps make the cladding extremely durable and longstanding.
Cedar Cladding: This is our most popular cladding, made from western red cedar wood. Cedar cladding adds real wow factor to your garden room or annexe, whilst also making your space durable. You can treat or paint this type of cladding but if left to the elements, it can weather into a beautiful silver/grey shade. To slow down this process, we can apply osmo oil to the wood or provide you with after care advice post construction.
Fibre cement board: We use a maintenance-free fibre cement board solution. With 8+ colours available, this is a great way to add character to your custom room whilst also making it look modern and contemporary.
One of the things that makes our custom rooms last for so long is the quality of the products we use and the time we’ve invested into finding the best and highest quality materials. This is seen with our roof material:
EPDM rubber roof: Our garden rooms and custom annexes come with EPDM rubber roofing which is highly durable and reliable. This type of roofing has a 50-year life expectancy and comes with our 10-year guarantee.
Walk in style with our range of flooring choices! We offer two different versions:
All options are perfect for an outdoor living space – and are hardwearing and scratch resistant. If you need an option that is waterproof, we highly recommend our vinyl-click flooring which also comes with heatproof underlay.
During your consultation, we’ll help you choose the best flooring type and colour to complete your custom garden room.
No matter what your plans are for your custom outdoor living space or garden annexe, you need to ensure it remains cosy (or cool!) throughout the seasons.
Insulation: All custom rooms come 100mm PIR board as standard. We have additional options, including a standard earthwool insulation option, which provides thermal, acoustic and fire protection. Earthwool is also rot proof, non-hygroscopic and does not sustain vermin and prevents the growth of fungi, mould and bacteria.
For a more premium finish, we have a PIR board option. This provides low emissivity foil facings, giving your custom garden room an improved thermal insulation performance. PIR also provides a reliable, long-term solution for your outdoor living space, saving energy and reducing your utility costs.
Heating: All custom rooms and annexes come supplied with oil filled radiators that have thermostats and timers so you can keep your room at a steady temperature no matter what the weather has in store! Our annexes come with electric radiators, which are also installed with thermostats and timers.
