See the Cube come to life

The Cube is a classic garden room with redwood cedar cladding that you can use all year round for anything you like. We built a bespoke garden room for a client using the Cube design as inspiration, to create a modern living space/chill out room in one.

Your room. Your way.

The Cube is our more minimalistic garden room, but it’s potential is incredible. It’s sleek design makes the cube the perfect base to customise and create a bespoke garden room that works for you and your space. From the inclusion of decking, to upgrading your French doors or even adding coloured composite cladding on the exterior; there’s so much you can do to customise your garden room.

Complies with permitted development rights

Garden rooms are not ‘habitable’ spaces, i.e., you aren’t living in one, so they do not require planning permission. This makes the project timelines for garden rooms infinitely quicker than annexes.

Do you have a question?

  • Do I need to get planning permission for a garden room?

In most cases, our standard garden room buildings (up to 30sq metres) do not require planning permission as they are built to comply with permitted development rights. However, rooms that are ‘habitable’ such as bedrooms, do require planning permission and building regulations.

  • How long does it take to install a garden room?

Typically between 7-10 working days, depending on the specification.

  • What type of base do you install?

All our garden rooms come with ground screws, all professionally fitted and guaranteed.

  • Are electrics included?

We included all electrics in our garden rooms. Hooking the electrics to the main property is an optional extra which can be quoted for prior to the project start date.

  • What are the most popular upgrades?

We offer a wide range of extras, but our most popular ones are:

    • Additional insulation
    • Choice in cladding (cedar, larch and composite are popular choices)
    • Luxury vinyl click floor
    • Bifold or sliding doors
  • What comes as standard on a garden room?
    • Epdm rubber roof with a 50-year life expectancy
    • Groundscrew base
    • Tanalised redwood cladding
    • 1500mm PVC French doors
    • 100mm rockwool insulation in ceiling and walls
    • 100mm PIR board insulation in floor
    • Full electrics
    • Heater
    • Painted and plastered finish
    • Laminate floor
